Ever find yourself wondering, “What’s going on with me…?” You’re in good company. I’m Amalia, an integrative counsellor, here to help you understand your inner world—and use that insight to shape your outer life.

Here, therapy is about asking big questions—and finding ways to live more fully, with awareness. If you’re ready to dig deeper, find clarity, and make meaningful change, let’s start the journey together.

How Therapy Works

Therapy is a space where you get to say the things you might not say anywhere else.

It’s not about being ‘fixed’ or told what to do. It’s about having someone alongside you while you figure things out in your own time, at your own pace. Sometimes that means talking about things that hurt, or things you’ve never said out loud before. Sometimes it means sitting in silence for a bit, or just trying to make sense of what’s going on in your head.

I’m not here to give you all the answers—but I’ll ask good questions, help you notice patterns, and stay with you while you explore what matters.

You don’t need to have a ‘big’ reason to come to therapy. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, or lost, or like things just aren’t quite right. Maybe something happened and you’re still trying to catch up with it emotionally. Or maybe you’re just tired of carrying it all on your own.

Whatever you’re bringing, we start where you are. Together we’ll build a space where you can be honest, even if it’s messy, even if it’s complicated. Especially then.

What To Expect

Starting Therapy

Getting in touch is the first step. You don’t need to have the perfect words or know exactly what you want to work on. We can figure that out together.

We’ll usually begin with an initial session, which is a chance for you to get a feel for how I work, and for us to talk about what’s going on for you. There’s no pressure to commit straight away—this is about seeing if it feels like a good fit.

What Happens in a Session

Each session lasts usually 50 minutes. You’ll have the space to talk about whatever’s on your mind, whether it’s something from the past, something happening now, or something you’re trying to understand about yourself.

You set the pace. I won’t push you to talk about anything you’re not ready for. I’ll listen, ask questions, offer thoughts, and stay present with you—without judgment.

Therapy can sometimes bring up big feelings. That’s okay. It can also bring a sense of relief, clarity, and understanding over time. Everyone’s experience is different.

Frequency & Format

Sessions are usually weekly, at the same time each week, but we can discuss what works best for you.

I offer sessions:

  • In person (Base Point, Vale Park, Evesham, Crab Apple Way, WR11 1GP)

  • Online via secure video call

Fees

My fee is £75 per session.

Payments can be made by bank transfer, directly on the site or cash and are due on the day before each session.

I also offer a reduced rate if you prefer to pay for several sessions in advance—just ask me for details.

Confidentiality

What you share in therapy stays private. There are a few exceptions—like if I’m worried about your safety or someone else’s—but I’ll always try to talk to you about that first. I’m happy to explain more about this when we speak.

How to Get Started

If you'd like to book a first session or just ask a few questions, you can email me or book online through the Booking page—just pick a time that works for you.
If you’re not sure or want to talk things through first, drop me an email.

A minimalist workspace with four wooden pencils, a blank sheet of paper, and a piece of cardboard on a light wooden desk, with natural light and shadows from a nearby window, and a green leafy plant in the background.
  • The first session lasts up to an hour is charged at £75 and gives us a chance to get to know each other a bit. You can talk about what’s brought you to counselling and what’s going on for you right now. I’ll ask a few gentle questions to understand your background and what kind of support you’re looking for.

It’s not a test or an interview—just a conversation. There’s no pressure to decide anything straight away. You’re welcome to take some time after the session to think about whether it feels like a good fit.

If for any reason I’m not the right person to support you, I’ll be honest about that—and I’ll do my best to help you find someone who is.

  • Alright, here’s the deal with a catch-up session—think of it as hitting the “refresh” button in counselling. It’s a less intense check-in designed to see how you’re doing since we last spoke, review any progress or hurdles, and create a new plan if needed.

  • Starting therapy is a personal journey, and choosing the right therapist is key. I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute phone call to help you decide if I’m the right fit for you. It’s a chance to ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for how I work.

Please be aware that I am not currently taking any booking until end of August as I am taking a break over the summer.

Check the booking calendar for first available dates.

Meanwhile, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch. You’ll find my contact details in the Contact section .

Looking forward to meeting and working with you soon.

Who I am

Hi, I’m Amalia. I’m an integrative counsellor, which basically means I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw from different methods depending on what you need, rather than relying on what a textbook suggests should work.

I’ve worked with people facing all kinds of things—grief, loss, the messiness of relationships, identity questions, and the type of life changes that turn everything upside down. I also have experience supporting people who are living with incurable or life-limiting illnesses, and those who are grieving someone they’ve lost. These are the conversations many people avoid, but I believe they’re some of the most important ones we can have.

My style is honest, grounded, and human. You don’t have to pretend to be okay with me. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about making space for whatever you’re carrying, without judgment.

I’m also comfortable working with clients whose lives and experiences don’t always fit the “norm.” If you’re exploring kink, non-traditional relationships, or feel like your story doesn’t quite match the standard script, I offer a space where that’s not just accepted—it’s welcomed.

If any of that speaks to you, get in touch. Let’s talk.
